Thought Bush did a good job dodging! It did seem to take the folks a little long to respond - glad it wasn't a more lethal projectile.

I saw it on the news. Bush has some good moves. I'm surprised that the guy was able to be able to throw another one without being swarmed by secret service or someone else.

I was surprised that not only didn't they immediately swarm the thrower, but that nobody jumped in front of Bush. Maybe they aren't trained to take a shoe? Good thing the Pres is quick.

I suspect analysis will show those were special tactical shoes.

Look for congress to pass shoe control legislation soon.
