Still Watching My Back
|

Went out on break after lunch with an Argenese Nicaraguan Presidente petit corona. Only managed about an inch of it, it sucked - difficult draw and reminded me of burning grass. Already had several out of the box so probably got a dud.
Tossed it and went back inside for a Cabaiguan Petit. Was much better, but was to mild a follow-up to the Argenese to fully take the taste out of my mouth. Should have just grabbed it first. |

Garage w/ couch & ashtray

A few buddies came over for a little mini-herf in the garage. I had a Diamond Crown, and shared w/ others an EP Carrillo 2009, Man o War Virtue, Cabaiguan Guapo...and another buddy brought his own, Oliva V.
Buddy that smoked the V hadn't smoked in about 6 months, got totally buzzed and really quiet...GOOD TIMES, GOOD TIMES!

I've had one of these before. I wasn't all that impressed. I'm thinking I should give them another try.

Day off of work combined with 55+ degree temps resulted in a three cigar day for me, all enjoyed outside! Unfortunately, none of them matched well with my tastes, so none really wowed me.
5 Vegas Gold Churchill Gran Habano Vintage 2002 601 Blue Robusto The 5 Vegas could have been good, but I think the breeze (which was a little stiff at that point) was blowing the tastes out of my mouth. I'm also going to give the 601 another try, since it may have just been too full for me on my relatively empty stomach. The Gran Habano I'm just going to write off, though. I'm looking for a nice cheap smoke, but it's not going to be that one. |
