What a great story!
Thanks for posting that, I just got an e-mail and was coming here to do the same thing. I doubt you would see a whole team from any other professional sport besides hockey do this.

That story makes me proud as a hockey dad. The parents of those players should be very, very proud of their sons.

A class act by a group of very classy young men.

Hawks set a franchise record with their 9th consecutive win...outstanding!

Hey, how about the overall NHL standings at the end of 2008:

1. San Jose 35 27 4 4 58
2. Boston 36 27 5 4 58
3. Detroit 35 23 7 5 51
4. Washington 37 23 11 3 49
5. Chicago 33 20 6 7 47
6. NY Rangers 38 22 13 3 47
7. Philadelphia 36 19 10 7 45
8. Montreal 34 19 9 6 44

If you expand the list to the Top 40, does Toronto make the list?

Tonight my woeful Isles play the hated crosstown rivals in a subway series. Looks like an easy win for the rags. I'll be recording it on NASN tonight and will watch it tomorrow after work. Here's to wishful thinking and being a true fan.

Fortunately my other team (San Jose) is doing okay, especially at home. Wow what a record on home ice.

San Jose is having an incredible season, I am thinking Detroit - San Jose in the Western Conference Finals....though I'd love to see the Hawks there.

Toronto is 41st out of 30, Paul.
