Bummer...sorry to hear about that. I'm always hearing some commercial on the radio for people that owe money to call them and they'll get it settled for pennies on the dollar.

I could have done that, yes they get the IRS to settle on some of your debts. But I made the mistake, so I paid the full price, not trying to get out of anything.

When they originally audited me they said I owed them $47000. But after I provided them all the documentation they needed it was about 1/10th of that. It was totally my fault, dumb mistake. You live and you learn.
