Fresh roasted is the KEY, more than a week old or 2 at the most, you might as well throw it away. That close out stuff you bought was probably roasted a year ago or longer
![]() 'Course, depends on how you are making your coffee, too. How fresh the roast is, might not make any difference, if you are using crapy methods or equipment.
