I'll probably try heartfelt next, maybe, the humicare gel works great tho.

+2 Kitty Litter

Exquiscat Crystals I think I got 4 lbs for the price of an ounce of beads. My humi and my cooler have stayed between 60-65% ever since

Anyone ever tried using the gel to re-hydrate the beads? Will that work as an alternative to using a sponge in a bag?

I mean if the gel or heartfelt only release up to 65% - 70% then the Shilal beads should absorb just the same amount of humidity and be able to keep this % of humidity longer without need to use solvent or distilled water correct?

It would probably work, but it would be slower than using water (in a sponge) since the sponge releases moisture to saturation whereas the gels typically do not.

actually someone in one of the other many posts on here about beads does exactly that... much slower, but if thats what you're after it would work very well!

I guess its nice to know I cant F it up as much since the beads will just absorb the humidity released by the gel

IDK ill try the sponge thing again this weekend and see if I cant get this to where I want them to be.
