Tallahassee?

I'm moving to the capital city at the end of August! Does anybody live in Tallahassee or nearby?

If so, do you like it here? And what the heck is there do to in the area? Are there any good shops you can recommend? Really, if anybody has recommendations of any sort about things to do or see or places to go, I'd appreciate it. Literally, I've been to Tallahassee once-- a few days ago, to look at apartments. I know nothing.
