Default Litto Gomez Lusitano

I got this Litto Gomez Lusitano from The Longfiller Company in return for a review. Litto Gomez is the owner of La Flor Dominicana and this cigar is released under his own name in 2004, to salute the 10 years of business of La Flor Dominicana, and the cigars are Dominican puros.

The Lusitano is a toro with a 6x54 size. The wrapper has a nice light brown colored wrapper that is oily and has a lot of small and two big but thin veins. The construction feels good and the predraw has the right amount of resistance but leaves no flavor on my palate. The cigar has a nice hay aroma.

I taste a pretty full coffee flavor with a bit of chocolate spread. The flavors are full but smooth. After half an inch the flavors change to the chocolate spread with some earthy notes. The coffee has disappeared.

After little over an inch I taste the chocolate with earthy tones and wood. After ⅓ the chocolate gets a little less strong and the earth flavor becomes dominant with the wood and chocolate on the background. The chocolate, which is mild creamy, lasts long on the palate.

After ⅔ the chocolate disappears and the aftertaste reminds me of walnuts. The texture is quite dry. The finale brings a herbal flavor instead of the walnut.

In the almost 2 hours it took me to finish this cigar I got a nice amount of smoke, that was neither thick or thin. The ash, which is quite firm, has a pepper and salt color. The draw and burn are just fine. I would call this cigar full bodied and full flavored.

Would I buy this cigar again? Yes, absolutely loved it!
