About fifty percent of the time my palate is messed up and I don't taste the cigar I am smoking as well as I should. Because of this, most of the time I will smoke a cheaper cigar so that if I can't taste it well it won't be a big loss. The plus side of this is I am able to hold on to really nice cigars for a longer time.
