Angry Sibling Rivalry: Drew Estates Natural Pimpstick (Ltd. Edition)

Drew Estates Natural Pimp Stick

6X52 Perfecto

Filler: Nicaragua, Netherlands
Binder: Nicaragua
Wrapper: Cameroon

MSRP: $7.50

I've been smoking a lot lately purely for the sheer enjoyment, and a BOTL
suggested that I jot down notes, snap a few pics and write the review
later, so this review won't be as detailed as some of my others but hopefully
you guys (and gals) will enjoy it Anyway.

Appearance & Construction:

I gifted one of these to a brother recently and I remember saying to myself
hmmmm... "I'm gonna have to try this!" Most of us are very familiar with the
Acid line that a lot of us tend to “love to hate”! Lol Well this is a 6X52 perfecto
which IMO is rolled 'neo' cuban style. This triple capped stick is a beaut
as far as i'm concerned. It doesn't have a lot of heft in the hand, but it is
very aromatic as I smell the wrapper. I believe i'm getting allspice and a little
paprika. This cigar is very well packed, and they actual cut the wrapper and
placed it onto the foot. I've never noticed this with any other perfecto that I've
smoked before.

1st 3rd: I clipped the cap and lit this bugger up. I noticed that the draw was just
a little resistant and lit with no problems. Initially I taste leather, cedar, and a bit
of spice. It's probably impossible for a perfecto to burn absolutely flawlessly, but
this one is going good so far. It's definitely medium in body right out of the gate
and very enjoyable so far. I like the fact that's it's not too peppery. I've been doing
a lot of strong maduro's lately so this is a good change of pace.

2nd 3rd: The aroma from this stick is absolutely amazing! The cameroon wrapper lends
to a very pleasant smell that's filling my garage. I get a little white pepper in the retrohale
as well as sweet tobacco and cedar. There aren't a lot of nuances in this stick, but it is
very very pleasant. The blenders over at Drew Estates really know what they're doing.
This cigar is creating clouds of tobacco and I do notice that it is burning a little hot,
but not incessant. I imagine this is mainly due to the size of the stick. The burn line
canoed a little bit, but it didn't require fixing. The ash is white, very firm, and lasted
for about an inch and a half.

Final 3rd: I kind of feel the body increasing ever so slightly to a medium full. The
flavors of cedar, sweet tobacco, and spice are prevalent at this point. The aroma is
great. I guess it's safe to assume that the Dutch tobacco blended in
this stick combined with the cameroon wrapper pave the way for a great tasting
and wonderful smelling experience. The ash is again very firm, white, and this time
reaches an inch and a quarter. I have thoroughly enjoyed this cigar, and while I
have no room for a box at this point, I will surely seek out another 5pack on cBad
very soon!
