You guys thinking about joining the service.... They are really cracking down on what, where, and when tats can happen. Get a current copy of the regs before getting one and or make sure your recruiter knows. It could be a show stopper.
I've heard this, and I'll certainly ask before doing anything, but I'm thinking that something that would be covered by a t-shirt ought to be kosher
