Still Watching My Back

Espinosa y Ortega No.21 Connecticut Robusto
This is my first review, so please bare with me.
Thursday noon and right after lunch I took out an Espinosa y Ortega No.21 Connecticut Robusto. This cigar is made with affection by two well-known names in the business, Erik Espinosa and Eddie Ortega that are mostly known for their 601 line. I sat comfortably with a cup of double espresso, got my favorite punch in hand and opened a perfect hole in the back. The fire from the lighter along with slow spins easily gave life to the tightly wrapped package and the first impressions were mixed. Originally from Nicaragua, with length 5.5 inches and 50 in thickness, the cigar unfortunately does not offer any aromatic pleasure. But the impeccable appearance, the well filled interior and the very low price (you can exchange it for $1.5) give it some extra points. There is nothing special on it, but with such a low price is a tempting proposal. |
