I hear the UF gators are not too happy about being in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl.
Shows you how far the bowl traditions have fallen since the BCS ruined everything.
Granted, I am from New Orleans, but the Sugar Bowl used to be a big deal.
My Impressions as a young man were likely:
Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Sugar bowl, Cotton Bowl, Gator Bowl and the rest. The Fiesta Bowl wasn't even established.
Now a team can be so caught up in what should have been, that they are 'bummed out' about going to the Sugar Bowl.
