Chateau Real Magnum 46 Connie
Origin: Nicaragua
Length: 5.63 Ring: 46 Strength: Mild-Medium Wrapper Color: Light Brown (N) Wrapper Type: Ecuador Connecticut Binder: Mexico Filler: NIC/DR This is a very nice looking cigar. The first thing I noticed was the contrast in color between the wrapper and filler. Dark tobacco inside and a very light wrapper outside. The band reminds me of a classic old cigar. This starts out with a very creamy flavor. It is nice and mild and is pairing well with my morning cup of coffee. The burn is looking kind of odd. I'm keeping my eye on the ash just in case. Slowly moving to the second 3rd, the flavor moves to a creamy almond. Plenty of smoke from an easy draw. The ash seems to be wanting to make an 'S' shape. Still watching it as not to have it on my lap. Although I'm not a big fan of mild cigars, this one seems to be a nice morning smoke. I think it's the creaminess that I'm getting from it. As it progresses to the final 3rd, a nice buttery flavor takes over. This flavor really seems to go well with the smooth creaminess. As I went to remove the band, I found it quite difficult. Once I did get it going, I found that it was a double band. The gold part was even harder to remove than the other. It was glued to the wrapper and tore it a bit when I did finally get it off. All in all this was a very nice smoke.
