Default Gran Habano Corojo #5

This arrived in the mail today. It was part of my Monday Night Football winnings from the Pac/Ravens game.

This is a nice looking cigar with two bands on it. The aroma is that of nice thick leather. Pre-light draw is smooth and I love the deep dark wrapper.

This was easy to light and had an even burn to start. But about a third of the way up, it started to tunnel just a bit. I was getting a nice earthy flavor from the smoke, and a very nice leather taste on my lips from the wrapper.

A brief touch-up and the burn was even again. The earthy flavor became mixed with a sort of almond flavor. The almond would come and go during the second 3rd of this one.

The flavor profile remained the same for the last part of the cigar. A bit of earthiness mixed with a lite almond flavor. I would consider this a light to medium bodied cigar. Fair amount of smoke from a good draw. All in all not a bad one.
