Default Tabacalera Falto Seleccion Especial

Size – Corona Gorda
Wrapper – Corojo Dominican
Binder – Sumatra (Indonesia)
Filler – Bahia (Brazil), Ligero Cubano (Dominican Republic), Seco Nacional (Dominican Republic)

Cigar Description
“The Tabacalera Falto, Inc. ‘Seleccion Especial’ in a Corona Gorda size and shape, that for the only reason of its complex blend I let it age for three years, is a cigar with a rich full body with interesting complexity. I only made four thousand cigars in factory bundles of 24 cigars each, just as if they just came out of the rolling table. As three other Falto cigars, these cigars come without cellophane sleeves and ring. Only one run of this cigar was made” – Luis J. Falto

Initial Impression
Personally I love this size of cigar…my favorite at the moment. Smooth shiny wrapper. No soft spots. Really a top notch looking cigar. Pleasant fruity tobacco aroma.

First third
Nice solid tobacco flavors with hints of citrus and a light amount of spice. Also has a slightly spicy nose exhale. Draw is excellent. Nice medium bodied mouth feel with a short aftertaste. Consistent in flavor throughout this third.

Second third
This cigar really takes on a smooth profile with complex leather and tobacco flavors coming forward. Peppery spice also pick up. Nice full flavor at this point.

Last third
Cocoa flavors appearing along with a very nice pronounced mocha aftertaste. Very smooth on the palate. The taste is very full with a lot of complexity in flavor. Very pleasant aftertaste which is not overpowering. Creamy and nutty at the end with a long creamy smooth aftertaste.

Conclusion
This is a terrific cigar! Complex taste with smoothly changing flavors. The last third really stood out in complexity and flavor. There was a crescendo of flavors leading up to a great finish. Recommended!

P.S. I don't think this cigar is available in stores yet.
