Cain vs Cain
Tonight at our weekly herf, Hal (hk3) and I did a side by side comparison of the new Cain line. I smoked a Cain 660 Habano while Hal smoked a Cain 660 Maduro. Both cigars were from the same retailer and had been in our humis for the same amount of time (both were purchased this past Saturday).
Both cigars were constructed and burned very well. After a quick punch, we lit up and were on the way to taste comparison history! First up, my thoughts on the Habano. Taste was pretty damn good. I found it to be a bit mild for a cigar that had been totted as so strong. When I purchased the cigar, the man at the counter told me they were very strong, and word on the street(net) was this would kick my ass, or as my grandfather says, "knock your dick in the dirt." I thought overall it was way "underpowered" compared to what I had heard. The taste was great, the burn was good and it was a very enjoyable cigar. But as far as the "OMG PURE LIGERO KICK YOUR ASS SO STRONG" hype, nope, not at all. Now, here is the cigar p*orn you've been waiting for: Pre-light, with a side of Jack & Coke. 1st 3rd-1/2 Last Bit continued in part 2... |
