Excellent move!
A burr mill will make a real difference in your coffee if you are a CA or not; the quality of the burr mill in part determines what brewing methods are open to you. Your Cuisinart definitely puts you in french press range. Many here will agree that a burr mill and a press is a time-tested path to coffee glory.  Tray-cheers for the USCG.
