While working in the shop today the wife comes in and flicks the lights, my cue someone wants my attention. I turn off the sander and I see "That Look", and nothing good is about to happen
She proceeds to tell me the 10+ year old dryer has finally died and she has a wet load in it and a wet load in the washer. So upstairs I go to Google electric dryers. WTF happened to the price. I know it was over 10 years ago I bought one, but the average going price was well over $600 and many were hovering around a grand. Off to Lowe's I went and bought the off brand dryer made by Whirlpool, says so right in the manual for $300 including tax and out the door.4 hours later I was back sanding and the wife was doing laundry again, another crisis resolved ![]() Chas |
