Default Ashton VSG Illusion

Size - 6 1/2 x 44
Shape - Lonsdale
Wrapper - Ecuador
Filler - Dom. Rep.
Binder - Dom. Rep.

Pretty rough appearance on this stick. One pronounced vein. Splotchy wrapper. It was firm with no soft spots.

First third - Initial draw had ample smoke. Primarily tobacco flavor but with a lot of complexity. Flavors were present which I couldn't quite put my finger on. Very smooth smoke leaving a creamy texture on the palate. The ash was quite flaky and fell quickly. Quite spicy on the nose exhale. Some notes of a smooth and delicious cedar taste coming through.

Second third - Tobacco, cedar, and coffee flavors emerge. Staying very smooth with just a hint of mocha aftertaste. Picks up in strength of flavor near the end of the third. Strong aftertaste of tobacco and leather paired with the light mocha flavors.

Last third - Flavors continue to evolve in complexity and strength picks up. Still staying very smooth and delicious. Great burn and draw throughout.

A great smoke full of complexity. Recommended!
