La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero (Robusto?)
Construction: 5.5x54 veiny, dark brown wrapper Pre-Light Draw: Smooth draw with an earthy flavor 1st Third: Very peppery start to this cigar. Peppery with a hint of earthiness. Cinnamon spicy and peppery very noticeable in the first inch. 2nd Third: Still peppery w/ a bit of spice. Still enjoyable so far. A bit of earthiness and citrus creep in and mix well w/ the pepper and spice. Final Third: Strength starts to kick in. It’s powerful (not as strong as a JdN or El Rico Habano)! Spice, pepper, earthiness, and a slight citrus are all still here in the final third. The finish was a little stale. Final Thoughts: Great stick! I received this stick from Hugh (Hotreds) as part of the Shemp’s Revenge bomb. I was not disappointed and will have to revisit this stick very soon.
