Temp/Humidity Question
Hey all. I have been having some concern in my walk in humi (closet). The temp/humidity vary distinctly from top to bottom. It is always colder and too humid at the top vs. the bottom. I put a fan in there set with a timer at the top blowing downwards but the fan is pretty small and doesn't run for long. I'm, not so sure this is correcting the problem.
I am using a 2 gallon hamilton beach humidifier set at 65RH (at the bottom of the humi) and a cooling unit on top of the door (fixed through the wall) set at 62F. Questions??? 1. Do you guys see any concern with putting a bigger fan in there and running it all the time or a majority of the time? 2. Would the fan be best at the bottom pointing upwards or the fan at the top pointing downwards. (The humidity is greater at the top of the walk in) Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Curt |
