Son Gets Interesting "Tip" For Cutting Cigars
So my youngest, Mitch, gets a summer job as a "bar back" at a local banquet facility. He is responsible to keep the bartenders stocked with whatever they need. Makes a nice buck for his own spending money which helps out a great deal these days.
How does is this related to the cigar world? Well I'll tell ya how. Seems the other night he saw a bridesmaid who was trying to cut some cigars for her bridal party. Seeing she was having a bit of a hard time and knowing how to cut cigars (not to mention she was very easy on the eyes) Mitch offers to help. I know, what a guy. Anyway, after the cigars were cut and the damsel in distress was happy she offers him a tip of twenty bucks for the help. Mitch declines, she insists, Mitch declines telling her it's no problem he was glad to help. So she reaches over and stuffs the twenty down the front of his paints, looks him in the eye and says, "thank you" and leaves! He still has a smile on his face. Moral of the story, I think, is to make sure your sons know how to cut a cigar at an early age. You just never know when a pretty girl might need a hand. |
