Re: Wait 'til Next Year...Cubbies Fans Unite!
Getting cheep (relatively) tickets is hard but not impossible. Going with stub hub is going to be expensive but. The trick is to know well in advance of when you are going. Also the team you are playing is going to be a huge factor. St.Louis is always going to be a hard ticket to find, and if the Brewers are good tickets are hard to find as well. The best way to get tickets is to check the cubs website often because they will release additional tickets periodically. I got tickets last year for $28 in-field reserve, two days before the game, there were none available for the entire two months before the game. Craigslist is also a good place to get tickets day of game. If you don’t care about the first inning or two, go to the scalpers after the first inning, They can be jerks and you should have a good idea of the layout of the stadium because they will sell you obstructed view. And it can suck to have a giant I-beam between your legs for 9 innings. If you can find 10 other people that want to go the rooftops across the street are a pretty good deal. I am paying 141.00 for all you can eat/drink and a good view of the field inter-league game on a Sunday in June.
