Default New Record-5 cigars in one day!

I don't think I'll want to do this again. At least for a long time.
The most I had in one day prior to this is 3.

#1: I don't usually smoke in the morning, but I decided to have a Rocky Patel Decade Toro with my Sat morning paper. I love this smoke. It's so smooth and creamy. Beautiful looking as well. Easy on the nose when snorking, so a real pleasure that way. A bit mild for my normal tastes, but it's so nice regardless. Not complex, as there's no changes other than getting a bit stronger.

#2: Late afternoon, after working most of the day, needed a break, so I lit up an Oliveros XL Bold Pyramid. Much stronger this time. I had a couple of months ago and found it harsh, but seems to be better after some rest. Leathery but still just a bit harsh. I think these will be good in a few more months.

#3: After visiting my terminally ill brother in law early evening, my wife and I felt exhausted emotionally and we just spent some quality time talking. I enjoyed a Graycliff 1666 Presidente. It's a beautiful looking lancero or similar size. It started off mild a peppery and smoothed out. It changed to a deeper richer and fuller body near the mid point. I would have been sold if not for the last third or so. Became so bitter and I had to put it down.

#4: By now we had decided to give up on making supper since neither of us were hungry. So the only thing I'm going on is this mornings breakfast and a light lunch. Just not hungry, and feeling a bit bummed out. We're still sitting around talking, so I look for something shorter, since I thought we'd pack it in shortly. I find a Camacho Coyolar Puro perfecto. Never had a vitola shaped like this before. This one's cool looking. And so tiny. Great leathery flavor profile. Medium body. Only criticism, it's too bloody short! I'll have to get more of these.

#5: So it's getting late, but we're still enjoying our company, and the Camacho didn't last very long. I'm determined not to go for one more. But I cave in and light up my old reliable Por Larranaga panatela. Shouldn't talk about it here, but it was good.

So now it's Sunday, and I just don't even want to look at a cigar today. I guess too much of a good thing. Basically smoked my entire Friday - Sunday smokes in one day. It will be a long time before I do this again.
