Default Chevy guys!!

Alright heres the deal. A guy I work with has a friend who is sellin a chevy truck. Its a 1995 Chevy 1500. Its the basic package with a 4.3L V6 and a 5 speed. I started it right up and sounds fine no squeals. It has 130,000 miles and the guy is very meticulous with it and replaced all the brakes, master cylinder, battery cause he didnt want to get stranded. The paint and body all look very good except a small dent that can be easily fixed and some paint chipping between the door and front quarter panel. Right now it comes with a cap on it but he also has a tool box and toneau cover. He researched the going prices on NADA, KBB, and Edmonds. He averaged them all and came up with a price of around $3200. Hes askin $2500 and probably wont go down. Sorry for the long post lol

Any opinions? Ive been told the 4.3 is a dog and doesnt have much power but I would be puttin on a cold air intake and throttle body spacer as well as a cat back exhaust.
