Default Onyx Reserve Mini Belicoso

An Onyx Reserve Toro was the first cigar I tried back in January when I first got into this wonderful hobby. I picked up a 5er of the Mini Belicosos on cbid a while back.

Humidor time: 2 weeks

Prelight: The wrapper has a nice sheen to it, slightly oily. Prelight draw is nice, dark and a hint of sweetness. The band is a white, gold, and black.

Burn: I think I got a little sloppy toasting the foot, and I had to touch up the burn slightly after lighting. Other than that, this stick seemed to self-correct any uneven burn. Ash was nice and firm and held on for at least an inch and a half. Draw was easy, not loose, and the burn time was just a bit over 45 mins. It would have been longer but I was freezing my ass off.

Flavor: This cigar had a nice coffee flavor, with hints of earth and chocolate.

Summary: This is a very good stick, especially for the price. It's not as full-flavored as some of my other favorites, but doesn't disappoint.
