Cigars and Pain

I know i've said this before but cigars help me with my pain. I just came back from my pain specialist and the one thing i forgot to speak with them about was how much cigars help me take less medication every day. I live with a lot of chronic pain all the time but I've found myself completely forgetting to take meds while smoking a cigar. I know the usual healthcare worker motto of "all smoking is bad" but have you noticed relief from pains while smoking or is it just me? it's possible i'm just crazy but something tells me otherwise.
