Cigar Rehab
So, when i started smoking again i noticed my cigars were too dry. I recalibrated my hygrometers and found most if not all my humidors were maintaining 55% - 50% RH. So my cigars were way too dry. I placed them all in Tupperware containers, recharged all my beads and reasoned my humidors. The humidors are all now rock solid at 65% and so my new cigars are doing great. So, after a month of rehab i smoked one today and found they're coming along nicely. No longer dry or harsh but still needs a month or two before i consider re-entering them back into the general population. I'm taking this really slow and rotating the cigars every 2 weeks. Is there anything else i'm missing or could be doing better? The beads i'm using in the tupperware are 70%RH beads and they're maintaining RH in the containers. thank you all for this collective wisdom that's been posted here. God bless you all!
