Default Split wrappers in Northern Colorado

I moved from the Louisville, Ky area to Northern Colorado in September. I have approximately 1500 cigars in a cabinet humidor, I keep the humidity at 65% using beads. The cigars are ok in the humidor but often times the wrapper starts to unravel and crack when smoking. The humidity is usually around 10 to 20% and I am at 5,000' elevation. I did not have this problem with my cigars before I moved to Northern Colorado? Do you think it's the low humidity outside or the elevation, or the combination of both? I thought I would try letting the cigar set outside for half an hour to an hour to see if that helps get the cigar Acclimated, any thoughts?
