Nutcracker at the buffing wheel again
I have a drawer full of estates in various states of disrepair. There were a couple of Dunhills I had stripped down about a year ago and got bored with them.
Anyway - did more cleanup and a little buffing.... The small one is a 1951 billiard and the big guy a patent era with illegible stamping. Both were is quite poor condidtion. I think they are a more acceptable standard for an enthusiast (rather than collector...) Next up is a Stanwell. Quite revolting - thick cake I had to drill out in the workshop. Then reamed almost to the briar. Currently under salt. Sanded out the chomper marks - elbow grease and grades of paper....
