Stuck Car
A farmer walking home from a neighbors auction, with his winnings in hand, met a woman walking the other direction.
Being country, he greets her and soon learns that her car is stuck in the mud. He offers help and tells her that he will take his items home and get a tractor to free the car. He asks her if she would like to walk along as it could take a bit. She turns to him and says "How do I know you won't throw me down to the ground and take advantage of me as soon as we turn the bend and enter the shelterbelt?" Shocked, the farmer explains that to do anything such as that he would risk losing the hog and chickens held by one hand and that by the time he sat down the toolbox and wicker basket in the other hand she could be well away from him. She studied him for a few seconds and said "You could easily put the chickens under the basket and set the toolbox on top to hold them, tie the rope from hogs nose ring to the toolbox handle and then have your way with me" |
