Default Aging cigars

I recently found a couple of nice, dark maduros in the wineador that had been hiding and forgotten for a couple of years. Happy to find some of my favorites, a PDR Capa Madura and a MUWAT, they met a fiery end at a local pub with some good ales as accompaniment. Interestingly, these cigars both proved to be exceptionally smooth, had excellent draws and burns and were just...much better than I had remembered them to be. Like everyone else, I have sticks that are purposely set aside for long naps, but these were just amazing. I have run across a few cigars that seem to have mellowed and improved with age before and these most recent reminded me of the benefits of doing so. I also enjoy Habano and sun grown sticks and imagine putting those away would result in similar results.
So many cigars to cellar - tests one's patience and resolve.
