Perdomo Habano Robusto Maduro Review
Review # 74
$5. -$7. 5” x 52 Wrapper: Nicaragua Binder: Nicaragua Filler: Nicaragua Body: Medium Prelight: Sweet tobacco, hay, sweet spice, cinnamon spice, cocoa 1st 1/3 Perfect draw, zing on the nasal passages of sweet spice, cocoa, black pepper After taste of spice and pepper lingers on the palate Stick has a constant smoldering of smoke at rest and puts out tones of smoke on the draw. 2nd 1/3 Spice pulling back, wood and leather notes come forward with nutty and mocha inklings, burning straight with the continued great draw. After taste now the dry wood and leather with slight pepper Last 1/3 The last part of the cigar remains the same to the middle section but smoother, with the wood and leather now stronger and some coffee notes. Smoked down to the last inch, after which it goes unpleasantly hot. For my taste the Habano Robusto is too dry and unflavorful to me compared to cigars like the Alec Bradley The Fix, Ramon Bueso Genesis or the Torano Exodus '50 Years' Robusto, all so much more flavorful and multidimensional. Smoke time 55 min Score 6.5 out of 10
