Default Natto...

Natto is fermented soybeans. I know that people with a "Western" palate are known to have issues dealing with Natto due to the texture, smell, and taste. I've been eating the stuff all my life and love it. You can find it at any Japanese grocery store. It'll come with a little packet of hot mustard which you mix in and I suggest you throw in a splash of soy sauce and some green onions. Typically served on rice but I started eating it on tofu during the whole "low carb" craze. Pictured is how I make it, lots of green onions, bonito, and nori.
