Stoopy and the tailor
An old man had to attend the funeral of a good friend but had no suit to wear, so off he was to the tailor.
As he walked in, he noticed the man who tailored suits for many of his friends and family was nowhere to be found but a young man of about 23 was standing there, smiling, introducing himself as Mr. MaFee (most likely because every time a customer enquires of a service, he says, "well, ma fee is . . .). He asked Mr. MaFee if he had a suit that would fit. Mafee assured him that he would find something. After he settled on a particular 'model', Mafee took careful measurements of the old man's bones to fashion a suit for him that would fit him perfectly. After all, it was his best friend's funeral. Mr. MaFee assured him he would have a perfectly fitting suit just in time for his friends funeral. The following day, Mr. Mafee presents to the old man a suit for his funeral attendance. As the old man tried it on, he realized, in horror, that the suit not only didn't fit, but it was several inches too long in the back and the sleeves were extremely long as well. After investigating, Mr. MaFee found that the measurements had been mixed up with another customer's. With no time to make repairs, Mr. Mafee suggested that the old man stoop over a bit to raise the suit up in the back and then bend his arms while grabbing the sleeves that Mr. MaFee pulled up so they wouldn't come clean over his hands. The old man leaves and starts hobbling down the sidewalk toward the bus stop, bent over, struggling to walk while he grasped the sleeve ends with his hands to keep them up. A middle aged couple passed by and observed the old man, hunched over, struggling to walk. The woman exclaimed to her husband, "Heavenly day! I feel so sorry for that poor old man trying to walk all hunched over!" The husband replied, "Yeah, but doesn't that suit just fit him?"
