Just keep pulling the trigger until you run dry. I finally got close enough and chucked a grenade and problem was solved for a minute.

Exactly, I don't mind when I die by sniper if it was a good shot. But when people run that semi they just get close and pull the trigger like crazy. No skill, just spray and pray with a sniper. I am thinking about suffering through it though to get my diamond sniper camo, ugg.
