Could be water spots or other deposits, possibly old/dead mold colonies. Plume is a very fine crystalline deposit that will typically occur evenly across the entire capa (wrapper) leaf of a cigar. It can, in theory occur on any tobacco, but for obvious reasons, if it occurs elsewhere in the cigar, we won't be able to see it. It's oil/mineral/sugars coming out of the leaf and crystallizing on it's surface. |
