How to get started smoking pipes

Just started trying pipes with this deal from the fine folks at pipes and cigars. I am loving the thickness of the smoke and feel on the tongue. I am going to have to work on this. Extensively. Thanks for the awesome post Moo. It is good to get solid info on how to start something like this, and I appreciate having a place to go with rock solid advice.
