La Aroma de Cuba
NAME: La Aroma De Cuba
SPECS: Corona, 5.5" x 44 APPEARANCE: Some veins, somewhat oily sheen, medium firmness, great construction, nice dark wrapper PRELIGHT: Easy draw, light sweet flavors of honey FIRST THIRD: Heavy coffee flavors, very smooth, balanced flavors. Copious amounts of white, fragrant smoke. Very firm, white ash. Light spice on the aftertaste. SECOND THIRD: Similar flavors from before, but picking up strength. I can pick up notes of chocolate, dirt, and earth. LAST THIRD: Nice toasty finish! Medium to full body, with robust tobacco flavors. I nubbed this sucker. SMOKING TIME: 1 Hour PRICE: About $110 for a box of 25, $4.40 per stick CONCLUSION: A pleasant and enjoyable smoke! The ash held on well, and the burn was straight throughout. A pretty straightforward cigar with some complexity. For the price, well worth it! Not in my list of all-time favorites, but a good stick nonetheless. |
