I will say I was shopping at a Wal-Mart and saw a couple of kids running out of the store, when about 4 huge guys wearing street clothes came out and tackled them. Apparently they had shopelifted and Wal-Mart has undercover security walking the stores... Who knew.

I thought it was illegal to chase a shoplifter from a store. Some kind of legal liability where shoplifters are likely to get hostile to pedestrians while being chased.

My girlfriend used to work at best buy and they were told it was against the law to chase someone out of the doors of the store. Apparently it is legal to yell at them to come back, but you cannot step outside.

I have a feeling the later is what probably happened and some football team came to the rescue lol.
