Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 Silver label.
Lets see if this review fairs better.
The Carlos T silver label isn't a cigar i normally go for but hay i got it in a sampler so what the hell at least i've made some space. Construction - It was pretty well made there where no soft spots and the draw was good though there was a slight crack in the wrapper at the foot. Pre light - The smell coming off this thing was what i would associate with a cheap bundle cigar i didn't find it very pleasant and i really didn't get much taste at all on the draw. 1/3 - It was on the mild side really not much flavour at all the best i could pick out was a dry grassy taste which continued throughout the first third. 2/3 - Finally things look like they are picking up while its still quite mild and grassy im detecting a creaminess to the smoke and what i would describe as a powdered chocolate taste. Unfortunately this wouldn't last through out the second third and would die off about half way through. 3/3 - At this point its becoming bitter and harsh so i leave it with about two inches to go. All in all like most of the Carlos T line i didn't enjoy it the flavours where nearly non-existent and it was just dull and boring. |
