Default This Is Expensive!

In the year that I've been smoking cigars I've spent ~$6300.00 on 50 boxes, which averages to $125.00/box. This is troubling. I smoke a value cigar and one to two premium cigars daily, and although I smoke Padron Anniversaries, I do so sporadically, which is to say that my average smoke costs $6-$8.00. Usually I spend ~$150.00 a box at two discount e-tailers; if they don't stock it I don't buy it.

Add in $700.00 on three humidors, beads, cutter and punch and I'm at $7000.00.

Don't misunderstand me, I really do love cigars, but that's a lot of money. As I have 50 pipes and about 20 lbs of pipe tobacco, I can have a bowl for about 75¢. I've financed cigars this past year by selling pipe tobacco; I had about 200 lbs.

I didn't pause to think about it until now; I've been too busy enjoying myself.

How have you coped with this expense?
