The picture of that cap looks a little wierd to me -- almost like it's been lacquered or varnished.

In any case, if the cutter works for you, that's great for you! For me personally, I don't think that this kind of cutter would work very well.

I use both guillotine cutters and punches (Xikar, Palio, etc.) and they both work very well for me.
