Anyone in the financial planning field?

Ill give the short version of my school background, I have an associates degree in Construction Management. I have been kicking around the idea of going back to school and I am currently looking at a BS in Financial Planning. I was just wondering if anyone is in the field and if they have any advise, input, feedback or any usful information about the field. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
