I'm not a father yet but my woman keeps telling me she wants kids soon after we get married next year. I am starting to come around due in part by this thread. The sheer joy that children seem to bring you guys is amazing. I always think of the negative aspects but I see that I seriously have overlooked the positive.

It's not something you really get convinced of, more akin to something that "clicks" when you meet them for the first time.

If you don't have kids, it's like trying to explain the color red to a blind man.
