The absolutely great thing about rums, other than the individual appeal to your palate, is that compared to scotches and whisk(e)ys, you can get some huge bang for your buck, and experience some of the finest spirits of the type for a fraction of the costs. I am no expert, but I know what makes my mouth happy.. .(that sounded...er... dirty...) Oh, and my wallet.

HAHA I hear ya. Thanks for the tips. Sipping the Appleton Reserve now and smoking a cigar. I have to say so far so good. I'm enjoying the rum.
