Default Hoyo De Monterrey de Jose Gener

As advertised:
Hoyo De Monterrey Majestic

Origin: Honduras
Length: 6.12
Ring: 45
Strength: Medium-Full
Wrapper Color: Dark Brown (M)
Wrapper Type: Connecticut Broadleaf
Binder: Connecticut Shade
Filler: DR/HON/NIC
Shape: Parejo

I recently bought two bundles of 25 of these puppies after sampling one that I pick up at the local tobacconist shop a few months back.

Very nicely constructed but very toothy wrapper, easy draw before and after lighting this stick.

The first 1/4 had little hints of spice flavor with a strong woody taste that gives a strong stout taste. Literally, I smoked half of the cigar before the ash finally drop onto the pavement into oblivion.

This stick burn evenly from start to finish all six times I've lit one up. Which made me happy, since I always smoke outdoors.

As I finished this smoke the taste of spices got stronger, nearly overwhelming the woody taste near the end the last two inches. which I liked and the ash didn't fall again until I toss it to it's death in the lovely spring grass of my backyard.

I will definately keep a few of these around and for some reason I always seem to smoke this bad boys down to it's last 1/2 inch.
