I typically go with Paulaner or Weihenstephaner for that authentic German hefe
, but one of the best American hefe's I've had on tap was some years ago at Pyramid Brewing out in Seattle. I don't think it's their current production hefe (Haywire,) it may have been an Imperial hefeweizen. All I remember was that it was
