Default Post earthquake Oliva G!

Trying to relax after the largest earthquake in Japanese history, so I went outside for a quick smoke. I'm sure most of you have smoked the Oliva Serie G Special G.

3 3/4 x 48 Maduro, Nicaraguan, medium-full body. Nice almost seemless construction, cool little perfecto shape, clean double cap.

As with alot of figurado's, the first cut/draw was a little tight so I had to make an additional cut. Draw after that was perfect, and the burn was decent and corrected itself nicely. Nice tobacco flavor, pepper on the first 1/3....short on the finish (no surprise from Serie G) and a little flat on the back.

Halfway more of the same, good amount of smoke and the flavors are very predictable and tasty for a small stick. Barn, Coffee, Earth.

Final third was nice and smooth, and you would be hard pressed to find a better smoke for under 3 bucks. Total smoke time was about 30 minutes.

Me and the fam are safe and glad to be living on base at NAF Atsugi
